Modern Data Governance Structures
In an era of complex business networks and digital ecosystems, the exchange of data has become a critical driver of competitive advantage. However, traditional data governance frameworks are often limited to single-company environments, leaving a significant research gap in how to manage information across organizational borders. Our research explores the intersection of network governance, data governance, and organizational design. We aim to develop holistic models that enable collective data understanding and structure, with practical applications in challenging environments like smart city initiatives.
